Our Croatian courses are unique in their use of communicative teaching methods that help you develop the language skills you need for work and daily life in Croatia as quickly as possible. Lessons are conducted interactively with a lot of variety and motivating activities that are tailored to the learning styles of each student. We also incorporate new technologies in language teaching, if desired, and provide a summary of each lesson by email. However, the most important aspect of our teaching approach is personalization of each topic to help students speak, read, and write Croatian as fluently as possible. We also work on error correction related to grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Although our approach is communicative, we do not neglect grammatical concepts or rich vocabulary input. Grammar and vocabulary are contextualized and practiced in real-life situations that apply to students' own lives, work, and interests. We also have a WhatsApp group for each course where teachers are available to answer students' questions outside of regular class times.

As we teach Arabic and Asian languages at our school, we can tailor our lessons to native speakers of these languages. You can attend our lessons face-to-face at our premises in the centre of Zagreb or online. We offer both individual and small-group courses, and intensive courses can be organized upon request. Nataša Nikpalj-Juraić, M. Sc. (native speaker) in Linguistics and Modern Languages, is a specialist in teaching foreign languages and the methodology of teaching. She has also worked as a trainer and advisor for teachers, participating in numerous European and Croatian projects, and delivering workshops and lectures in Croatia and abroad. Former UNESCO coordinator for the Education for All programme, she has published scientific papers in language teaching and linguistics and specialises in teaching languages through music and interference errors.

All our courses are organised into study modules based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which describes competencies in a foreign language at six levels:

A1 - Breakthrough/Starter

A2 - Waystage/Elementary

B1 - Threshold/Intermediate

B2 - Vantage/Upper Intermediate

C1 - Effective Operational Efficiency/Advanced

C2 - Mastery/Proficiency

Number of Modules and Level Classification

The number of modules required for a certain level depends on the number of classes and the progress of the group or individual student. On average, it takes two study modules to complete one level as defined by the CEFR, except for levels B1 and B2, which take four modules. Depending on the progress of the group, the number of necessary modules may be reduced or increased.
